So I crashed my parkzone archer after 100 flights I made a rookie mistake and put in a pack that was already discharged about half way. I had forgotten my system in my battery box on where I put used batteries and it caused a nice wreck.

So the rebuild wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped after ordering a new fuselage because the break point was right behind the nose wheel on this particular plane you tend to get a lot of force right there with a perfect landing due to the nose wheel being longer than the mains. The rebuild took a couple hours but is well worth it, I don't have current pictures of the newly built archer but I think it looks good as new.


I have had a GWS C-47 kit sitting in my garage for about 4 months and finally put it together over the last two weeks. The kit itself went together nicely. I decided to forgo the brushed motors and go with 2 firepower Speed 400 1300 KV motors a tractor and a pusher prop from windsor prop co. in the 6x4x3 variety and two Hobby Wing 30 Amp ESC's I know those are over kill but they were on sale and 30 amps get more use around here than 18 - 20 amps.

I had to add some extensions to the motor wires to connect the ESC's, I went with 14 gauge 12 inch wires with bullet connectors soldered on and then covered each joint with shrink wrap to keep them connected.
