Also have been kept busy with updating my clubs website, from scratch. I decided to try Impress pages, it is a very easy to use CMS style page creator. Has a few quirks but overall was easy to build and should be easy for most in the club to have a go at when I pass over the "keys"

Been enjoying my Sebart Mythos
Some info about my Sebart Mthos 50e for those that are interested
ESC is a Castle Edge 100amp which has full data logging capability and a multitude of tunning features once hooked up to a laptop.
Motor is a Scorpion 4025-12 440kv currently spinning a 17x10 APCe Servos are Hitec all round, Digitals on Rudder and elevator. Just standard analogue low profiles on the Ailerons, name brand digital low profiles were almost 5 times as expensive, in case you were wondering.
I fitted it with a basic Hitec Telemetry kit (the SS-Blue) with amps, volts and two temperature sensors (ESC and Battery)which I initially planned for an FPV setup but thought it would be interesting on this
After exactly 10mins of flying the 6S 5000mAh packs were depleted to 3.8 volts per cell, which is exactly the storage value for Lipos! Packs only ever reached 32 deg C and ESC 38 in flight and 40 after landing (no cooling) from the Telemetry data. From downloaded data from ESC (see attached graph), max current was 94amps and 2150 watts. Average inflight current draw was a lazy 17.5amps for basic aerobatics and I expect it to rise a little as I get used to flying a pattern schedule. The Mythos flew perfect on half throttle and has plenty of vertical on just above half throttle. Full throttle not really required for any part of the flight. Landing was easy after figuring out that two clicks of throttle controls the descent and have the prop act as a brake. It is a very slippery model.
No good for painting so I finished the installation of the new VVRC 40
Couldn’t get it to run by Flick start, only Fire. Just not getting enough fuel into the cylinders. One hit with the starter and it was running perfect.
Smooth with no noticeable vibration around the cylinders, just a little if I back off to idle very sharply as she burns off excess fuel.
Didn’t even touch the needles at all. Happy with idle to mid range to high transitions. Also noticed that it doesn’t have the over fueled burble that the singles all seem to have.
Very impressed so far. Not as noisy as I expected either with open can style mufflers, although test will be in the air to see if I need the “anti bark” muffler plugs (none in stock anywhere I have looked). Looks like it is also not as fuel Hungry as my old DLE 30 piped setup.
Mine will be the Gas version with a DLE-30, Frank Bowman ring and ZGR style Canister. Have the Hawk 18x8 for break in and a JXF laminated 20A to try after
Using the new Brico 40amp fail safe pin flag switch
Two 2000Mah 2S LiFe packs in parallel for ignition/reciever/servos. I am just going to put a ferrite ring on the opto kill switch lead and diodes to drop the voltage for the ignition
Running 5x Hitec HS-5565MH servos on all surfaces and a HS-7235MH for throttle. I'll run them on Y leads to avoid a brown out of the Optima 9 receiver.
As for servo arms I have some CF ones I will try and see how they go.
Airframe should be delivered around 11 Oct, so I guess I should fit the ring and do the other DLE reed block tidy up jobs.
