EPP foam block
After about two weeks I built a power supply and a bow, tried various ways to get the block down to a more manageable sizes, and finally had something that resembled wings.
Airfoil templates, I decided I was going to gut the wings in two section, one 400mm and one 800mm because I wanted to add a plywood section for reinforcement when I install the carbon spar.
First wing section cut, scuda weights works great for weighing the foam down, note the leather gloves i used so i could grip the wire, gave me way more control on the bow.
Wing root sections after cutting.
Four wing sections laid out side by side, very happy with results.
Fuzz in raw form, lots of shaping to do.
Fuzz starting to look like something, i found 80 grit sanding paper wrapped around an aerosol can works like a charm.
