Hello everyone. Got an awesome opportunity to fly a demo for a lot of children of all ages this past weekend and thought to share it. The first flight is from the warm up early in the morning and the second is the demo. The Museum is the most magnificent indoor place to fly I've ever seen. It was finished in 1887 and it took over 15 million bricks to build this place. Wll worth the drive down to DC to take advantage of this. On top, this is the first video using the new HD video camera. What a difference versus the old camera. And, now, get popcorn, settle in and enjoy the improvised flights on the Clik NG indoors at the NBM!
Hello everyone. This is a compilation of flights from the past couple weekends. All Twisted Hobbys stuff in terms of planes. Gotta fly Twisted! I got a new laptop and a video editing software package for Christmas so I'm trying it all out and watching tutorials on how to do effects LOL... Anyway, there a bunch of attempts at good editing in here. Just trying out effects and sounds etc. But, it worked out pretty well for a first try. I hope you enjoy. This is the Twisted Hobbys MXS-C Mini, a new design from Cody Wojcik and Twisted. And, the "SLOW"plane is a Clik NG. This is also available from Twisted ala RC Factory. It's a sweet flying plane. Here goes... got popcorn?... Long vid
Flight from Christmas. Got some great weather for this time of year. We got out for long enough to fly three packs and back home for dinner. This plane is almost three years old now but still performs so well it's just silly. Castle Edge100 Speed Control, Falcon 18x10 CF Prop, all Hi Voltage Hi Tec servos on 2S 2400mah. Futaba radio and receiver. Flying for Pulse, so, Pulse batteries (2 x 4S 4500mah) in an 8S configuration. Motrofly 4325 I believe... So, happy holidays to you all.
This plane flies big and is super well behaved. It's a new one from Twisted Hobbys and was designed by the great Cody Wojcik. This is great for the gym and outdoors as well. Any questions, shoot me a PM. I'd be glad to help you.
Hey guys, here's a quick video of some flights from indoor this past weekend. This is the new EPP Clik developed by David K and his team at RC Factory. We are selling these at Twisted Hobbys in the US and the plane is exciting for having an F3P feel while keeping the advantages of EPP construction. It would be lighter if I had to do it all over again but this kit produces nice results for even a person that's new to building F3P foamies. I'm going to try some removable carbon and mylar brakes off of the SFGs for next weekend. I hope you enjoy the video and feel free to comment if you have one of these or are interested. I will get you an answer to any and all questions you may have. Thanks for watching and reading this blog!
Flying in the yard here at home. Put the CTB on 3S for the first time after having her for a year. Changed the prop to a 8040 Direct Drive. She gets kinda angry on 3S. Standard servos... standard Crack Motor... Incredibly fun plane. A great collaboration from Twisted, Jewett and Wojcik!!! And, best of all, made to last!
Here's a video of a few flights on the new 39" Crack Yak from Twisted Hobbys. It's a great fun size at 39". It's not as big as a 48 and it's not a 32" plane at all. Years in the making, this is Chris Jewett's best plane design. This is based on a couple flights in New York at IMAC's Northeast Regional Finals. Black Dirt is a very rural farming area where they produce tons of produce. Beautiful area... Fun to chill at night and fly 3D on a foamy after day one of the contest.
The 39 is a real fun plane, has the ability to roll fast and will fly pretty clean as well. I'm still tweaking the CG by moving the battery around. All in all I like the size being bigger than the 32. It's ready for a little wind and has the killer graphics. This is the "green" scheme.
Bivens killed my wing after about two seconds and so I flew the next 12 packs or so with one aileron. This type event is the most fun you can have quite possibly. Flying 30 minutes with one wing will make a pilot out of you
Not as much video and pics from Nall this year but managed to get some of the stuff together into a little compilation of pics and video. Trying to show the fun, fellowship and hospitality. I hope you enjoy it!
Here is a flight from this afternoon's Freestyle event which occurs at the end of our IMAC contests. Nothing was planned and the music was borrowed. Worked out pretty good we think. A patriotic theme for those who FLY EXTREME!
A special thanks to Amit Doron for taking this video on your I Phone!
