Got a few pics here but we are working on how to get the video off of Tom's camera. It'll take until tomorrow I think because I gots planes to build.
Thanks a million to everyone we got to meet up with, fly with and talk to. A lot of people we haven't seen since last season and quite a few we never met as well... Everyone was very nice. We flew, we had fun, we bought plenty of stuff.
Thanks a bunch to everyone at the 3DHS booth.
We'll look forward to seeing you all again! It was a great time. We'll post more tomorrow.
Flew most of th day but didn't get much to video as the camera's card was about full, but, packed up to leave and then had the thought to delete some older video and pictures. So, we did and took this last flight where Aaron does his new spin/twistee/flip out hover catch trick he's trying to get down. It was a pretty good flight with a good bit of low flying. Trying to work through the coupling on long knife edges. He does a lot of flat spins. The gym is small for this plane but the throws kind of make up for it if your quick. Anywho,... enjoy : * )
Right now just breaking the motor in on a 23x10 Xoar but been hearing we should go with a 24x10. Or, Vess 24A? Not sure yet. Need a little weight in the front, so, staying with aluminum spinner. I think if I go to the 24" prop I have got to go up to a 4" spinner. Had a 3.5" Carbon spinner but couldn't quite CG the plane where it is supposed to be. Trying to do some shopping but not sure if I should pick up the 24x10 and the 4" spinner right without asking around. Been reading up but figured we'd throw it out there to see if anyone has some advice. The plane is an AW Extra300. There's some video of it running on our blog.
Hope life has been good to everyone. We have been flying and documenting it but not much time to post it up on RCGroups here lately. So, as you see, we're running the new plane and flying both indoors on Sundays still and made a few flights Saturday at the field... all the cameras pretty much stink but hey... we're trying none the less.. enjoy
