This is the fifth installment in the Veloxity series of videos I've been doing to showcase this amazing design by Cody Wojcik. The plane has all the precise characteristics you would expect to find only on Extreme balsa planes. It's a masterpiece of power and control.
Here's a little video from a couple weeks back when we had a quick snow squall move through. Grabbed the plane and headed out to have some fun. Note to self, snow goes in your eyes wen looking up at your plane
Guys and gals, this is the best foamy for XA. It has everyhting you ever wanted in a foamy. It's 43 inches on the wing and it is pure fun!!! I'm running 3S Pulse 2250 mAh 65C packs on the Twisted Hobbys Digital Power Combo. Need help, have questions just PM or ask here. Take care!!!
Here is a new vid guys just to show off the official best setup I have found. This is the PT 9x4.2 carbon prop running on 2S 325 mAh 70C Magna series TP packs. The plane otherwise is the stock digital servo setup and motor as sold by Twisted Hobbys here in the states. The design is a great one from Jan Spatny and David K at RC Factory. It does torque vector right off of the rudder servo. An ingenious design that's superlite and a lot of fun. I hope you get to enjoy one this indoor season... PS... these are great fun outdoors in little to no wind as well
The maiden flights on the Edge 540 V3 from Twisted Hobbys!
This plane is a vectoring setup. A real treat for 3D pilots that can get a nice indoor venue from time to time. Super-lite construction. On the Digital setup, it's sweet. Please look forward to lots of flights on this model this indoor season. I may do a few mods or changes in setup from time to time. On this plane you can try different things. It's just such a cool plane.
Here's a video we put together to show off our IMAC North East Region's final contest of the year, the regional finals we know by the name of Black Dirt. It's situated in Goshen, New York centered in some lush farmland.
The video includes freestyle flying by greats like Tyler McCormack and Chris Thorpe. We always like to shake off the contest jitters and throw down some high energy freestyles before we head home.
Special thanks to Cody Wojcik for getting video of my freestyle.
Bittersweet to have a great time and yet to also know it will be quite some time before we see each other again to compete.
Hello RC Group folks. Got my chance to test this light set. Let me say, this is the way to light your way to great night flights. The RC Flite Light kit is simple to install, has no complicated drivers, it involves no lights on your tail feathers and it lights everything up like a diamond at night. Better yet, each wing can run on a separate battery, so, if you knock one light set off, you have the light you need to land your plane. I really enjoy having the option to take the SFGs off and put the lights on for night flying. Next day... back to the SFGs during the day... not a problem. You will no doubt see more of RC Flite Light since the design is now the best on the market. Enjoy the vid everyone.
Here is a little video for our new-found friends in State College PA and for all the IMAC pilots really. The State College Remote Control Club is awesome and is now a great asset to the North-East IMAC Community. Now, this is a HUGE field. It's great to have the opportunity to fly with so many GA pilots and to see all the full scale planes coming and going during an event. We had a blast and can't wait until next year. A special thanks to Jon Guizar and all the SCRC Club members for hosting a first-class event. It's pleasure to fly with you all. Best contest in forever!!! Fair skies and calm breezes to you all. I hope you enjoy the vid that's a tribute to all of you!
Just flying at night to beat the heat and got some video to help keep things interesting on these here interwebs. Hope you enjoy the flying. Stay tuned in. Lots more flying coming the next couple months.
This plane is flat out insane fun to fly. Great throws. Set it up with a 7 channel receiver and just go plane crazy on all the mixing and switches you can get at. Don't know what to say, This BEAVER is durable as heck and really surprises you with it's extreme capabilities. If you don't get one... you someday will realize that you should have
Well, it's kind of like a documentary but without all the fancy talking about stuff. This is a little summary of the events taking place on the 3D line this year. What a great experience once again. Yes, it's true that things are always changing and it's an excellent time to be in the hobby. Enjoy the video everyone. You are why I made it, basically. One of the great things about the hobby, we are all willing to share experience and help each other. Can't wait until next year at Triple Tree.
This is the new favorite from Twisted Hobbys. It's design is a few years old but this is my first time owning one and I love it. It goes fast as heck one second and can slow down to a crawl in the blink of an eye. It's a fantastic bipe. I highly recommend it as an easy fun build too! Enjoy the vid guys and gals!!!
We pass some crazy stuff as we drive around to flying sites. So, I incorporated some into the mix of flying the New Twisted Hobbys Edge 540 Mini. All the scenery is on our way to and from the gym where we fly and is within a few minutes of our house. Today is the last day of indoor for the season.
I hope you enjoyes all of the indoor flying this year and I wish you all a lot of luck with your spring/summer/fall flying! Thanks for helping to make this hobby great and to spread the word!
Got the chance to fly in this wonderful space again. Perfect for tall maneuvers and a great place for lightweight slow flyers. Had a lot of fun talking to kids and parents that are interested in flying. This is the Clik NG from Twisted Hobbys and RC Factory. Great flying plane. Flying it just the way you can buy it from Twisted. All stock Twisted stuff. Enjoy!
Hello everyone. Got an awesome opportunity to fly a demo for a lot of children of all ages this past weekend and thought to share it. The first flight is from the warm up early in the morning and the second is the demo. The Museum is the most magnificent indoor place to fly I've ever seen. It was finished in 1887 and it took over 15 million bricks to build this place. Wll worth the drive down to DC to take advantage of this. On top, this is the first video using the new HD video camera. What a difference versus the old camera. And, now, get popcorn, settle in and enjoy the improvised flights on the Clik NG indoors at the NBM!
