I took delivery of a kit Bixler out the the U.S. warehouse about 3 weeks ago and have been documenting my SLOW progress step by step. After looking around here on rcgroups and other forums I have taken what i consider the best of the best so far as mods and build tips (or as much as budget will allow) and am trying to incorporate them into this build. I am a scratchbuilder by heart but i was in need of a reliable, tough, stable, proven plane that i could grab and get out of the house if i was frustrated with scratchbuilt project. Just playing around with google sketchup today and thought i would share. this is an fpv/ap platform based on some other successful twin booms i have built. my first time on sketchup, slight learning curve but just posting these pics as examples of what a noob can get done in one day. excited about the possibilities.
