I think this is the most excited I've gotten for R/C in quite a while. Just ordered a DX6i, a RadJet, and a 7x6 prop for my newly built CrashTestHobby Pelican. I'm getting out of FPV and back into LOS and loving how things are working out. The DX6i is going to replace my DX5e. The money from selling the DX5e will get me the cash to get some extra batteries for the RadJet and the Pelican, as well as a few spare RXs for a few more projects that I have coming
Life is good! Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get out and go flying. 32 degrees and 10 mph winds doesn't so TOO bad.
Finally, things are working out. And I'll actually have some spare money in case of a crash or something. Many may know, that I used to have the DX6i. Had to sell it because I didn't have the money to buy any planes to fly it with! Now I have the money and have the capability to fill up my new DX6i's (that will be coming in the mail in about a week or two) model memory at some point in the future!

I've decided to get out of FPV.... just my personal preference. It's not as fun as regular R/C flying (LOS) anymore. Not sure why...
However... now that I'm selling my FPV setup, I'm going to have lots of money to spare which I'm not used to, actually. But honestly I don't have any clue what I'm going to do with it. We're talking somewhere over $400
Here's what I've built/flown/driven for R/C so far:
I've used a DX4e, DX5e, DX6i, and a Hitec Laser 4 radio once (72 MHz). I'm currently using the DX5e, but I would like to upgrade. I don't like to spend too much on a radio... I like name-brand radios. Spektrum, Futaba... don't think I'm going to get Turnigy but I guess it's always an option. I'm almost sold on the Futaba 6J, because it's relatively cheap and has all the features that I need... plus, after using 3 Spektrum radios, I'm ready to try something different for a change. But I don't know, maybe a DX7s would be better for what I do
Overall, looking into the past, I had the most fun with the mCPX and the PopWing. The mini E-Revo at a close 2nd maybe...
