Flew my mini quad at my club meet up. Got this quad tuned and flying pretty well on Betaflight 2.9.0 with Multishot. I swear every time I think it's flying well, Boris B releases a new Betaflight version and I can't help but update. And everyone it gets better and better. While all my quad videos have been kinda a best of clips from all my flights on a particular day, this time I've been trying to get a "flow"'going on all my flights. The goal is each video flight is uncut. My acro skills are definelty still new and learning , for me this pushes me to try and make my flights fluid from trick to trick. Each battery flown is like one big trick.

I bought a new FMS v8 P-51 Mustang to replace my crashed Corsair. The Corsair was a great plane up until the wing broke apart mid air and upon crashing started a small lipo Fire. My point is that it left a void in my hanger since it was my only 1400mm size plane. I flew my smaller fleet for a few months but really missed something larger. Did some homework and finally settled on a FMS 1450mm P-51.
I had a tough time deciding between a B or D model and it ultimately came down two criteria : Blue nose and weither the custom nose art I was planning would work.

I ended up choosing the D model Petie the 2nd. It had the blue nose , the Petie 2nd logo looked the easiest to change to what i wanted , and had a sliding canopy for the cool factor.

Nose Art:
I wanted to do something different than the handful of mustang schemes that are available. I started searching the Internet, first stop was Callie Graphics. She had a great selection of mustang decal kits but nothing quite fit the bill. I started looking at photos of all different wartime nose art I could find . I had just about given up when I saw the perfect one. "My Achin' Back"
Now this is perfect for a few reasons. I first got into this hobby after recovering from two back surgeries, so I know a thing or two about an aching back
It had a pinup girl on it which represented my wife as I was trying to incorporate her, ( when the wife lets you drop $300 + on a new plane, she deserved to be on the plane ) and...Continue Reading
