Quite a few new changes, New Job, New Location. This September I moved to Springfield Mo. I moved most of my aircraft, Sold a few. I determined that my 1/3scale Super Cub was going to be a bit large to move, so it was sold.

I will be building a 1/3 Scale Super Cub for my 2012 Winter project. Originally I wanted to Build a Fokker D7 1/4. I love the WW1 stuff. But I have really had the Bug for a 33%. The D7 1/3 scale weighs 50lbs. Thats a heavy bird, so I thought for now a 35lb Super Cub would be good Training for Giant Scale. Phil aka sundevilpilot gave me these pics for motivation. It is one beautiful Cub.

This is my twenty fifth year in the Hobby. My first airplane was a Goldberg Electra. The owner of the shop told me the future of the hobby was in Electrics. He was correct, but maybe a little early. My latest change is that I am selling all my glow engines and equipment. I will flying Gassers for the big stuff and I am going to play with some bigger Electric stuff i.e. 60 size Warbirds etc. Its still fun after 25 years and the guy at the hobby store was correct. The future of the hobby is Electric, but I'm not in too big a hurry to get there!

P.S The owner of the Hobby store was Phil at Collectable Creations In Cheyenne Wyoming. Great guy, I lost touch years ago.
