Here are my build pics of the Whitly.They don't show servo placement in the fuselage,but the elevator servo is just behind the c.g.area,so I could put the battery in the c.g. area.The rudder servo is where the open door is.The motors are mixed with the rudders for throttle differential.
After the first couple flights she flies GREAT!Mixed the ailerons+rudder,which is mixed with throttle and now she turns on a dime.Speaking of dimes,I put 4 quarters under the nose which balances her perfect.My 1 cam weighs about the same so I'll make a spot for that to replace the $.Hand launching is easiest and it has great elev. authority.The battery was warm after a 7 min flight.Hmm maybe I can try a little heavier batt. and shift it forward to be perfect.Pictures follow.....Continue Reading
