Let's see... I'm not building anything cool, although I do have most of a Senorita framed out and hanging on the wall in hubby's "hangar" and I don't really need advice on anything, but I do have something cool I want to share.

I have known of this hobby for around 12 years, since I met my husband. Before then I had NO idea that people would do anything as crazy as build and fly model airplanes. I was FASCINATED!! I am still am to a certain extent. I love going to the different events, seeing the planes and meeting the people. I have managed to learn a little over the last decade and I can carry my own end of a conversation most days. One of the things I have NOT learned is how to work the battery charger.Good lord!! You seem to have to go through so much just to get a battery ready to fly... it makes my head hurt.

I have a pretty fab pilot in my life. I don't believe there is anything that he can't fly. And yes, I am biased... Our hangar has everything from tiny micros to giant scale monsters, super slow-flying to super fast. I love watching him fly and he doesn't mind when I'm behind him yelling for him to "Do something cool" ... or "Torque the Wings off of it!!". He has attempted to teach me to fly througout the years, and I have taken the radio on occasion.
