One of 4 flights of the Jetlegend F-22 at Wings over Whiteman 2014, Perth, Western Australia.

It was a great weekend of flying with very strong winds making for interesting landings

This is the 14th flight of the F-22, now it is set up and flying well it needs to be painted and scale details added.

Scary maiden flight of the JL F-22 due to turbulent wind. Nearly ended in disaster on take off as the elevator did not have enough up trim which caused the weight to shift on to the nose wheel.

In the air it flies great. Still have lots of work to do painting and adding scale details but at least now after 18 months of building I know it flys.

After 3 months of building the K60G turbine powered JTM viper jet it was ready to maiden. Most of the test flight was at 1/3 throttle or less. Due to the wind shifting direction during the flight I had to attempt to land in a cross tail wind and it just would not slow down

Managed to finally land with almost no fuel left!

After 4 flights the little viper was dialled in and flying on rails. It is super fast and a blast to fly. Flight times are only 4 minutes but that feels like 40 minutes with the concentration needed to keep track of it

Special thanks to Ernest from ERJETS in Singapore for his fantastic customer service!!
