Hyperion Helios 63e F3A Plane
Just finished setting up my latest plane, Hyperion Helios 63e. 55" WS pattern plane.
This one was purchased used for $380 shipped. The only downside was a section of the top left wing which has some trim that has been removed. It looks a little ugly - I think I will place some replacement trim covering over the spot.
It came built with:
4x HS-225MG servos
Hyperion Z4020B-14 Outrunner brushless motor
Hyperion Titan 80 amp PSB ESC
For power I'm using my Rhino 4S 3700 mAH packs.
The first prop I'm trying is a 15x8 APCe. Pulls ~45A, 700 watts static. I also have a 16x10 APCe which pulls 60A if the 15 is too tame.
AUW is 4lb 10oz - so I'll start out with 150 w/lb.

My latest plane - Extra 260 from Hyperion
The Hyperion 40-size Extra 260. Flies quite nicely. The ARF cost $115 last year.
Setup with a 4S 3000 mAH pack, 40A ESC, and a Turnigy 40-size motor. 14x8.5 APC Electric prop. 54" WS, AUW 4.5 lbs.
