I've been flying my Vortex for a solid 30 days now. It's been a blast. I've been flying on 3S, and although I have brand new 4S batteries sitting on the bench, I just haven't felt the need for a change yet. So far, not a single crash. This thing is on rails!

As 2014 draws to a close, I submit to you my video montage containing clips from most of my FPV flights post-April this year. Covers three states, six cities, and ten flying locations. Includes flights from five different quads and two different fixed-wing aircraft. Enjoy the compilation!
This video is my favorite to date. It includes footage from five different FPV aircrafts, flown in Northeast Tennessee from January 1 to April 27, 2014. All footage recorded with GoPro HD Hero3 Black, post-processed in Sony Vegas Pro 10.
I took 5 FPV aircraft to the local park yesterday and made it a full afternoon of FPV flying. The video compilation below shows pilot footage, HD footage, and the CRASH into Boone Lake (Orange Rx lockout).
Last night, I made my first visit to the Johnson City Radio Controllers (JCRC) field, and immediately joined their club. I'm looking forward to a lot of flying and socializing with this great group of fellow pilots!
I did an FPV flight at the field with the "T-Copter", which showcases the field, and some large-scale 3D flying that was going on! Check it out!
I purchased this from Anselmo here on RCG, and with his great help I was able to get everything up and running pretty quickly! It's windy today, so no real test flight yet - just a quick hover. Tomorrow is supposed to be calm, so hopefully I'll have some onboard footage up soon!
My friend Brian (profile) and I went flying on Monday evening, and I caught a great video of him flying the Stryker F-27Q. Two close calls with the trees and then a very strange malfunction make for a crazy landing! Make sure you see the end. We're still not sure if it was radio interference or maybe a servo acting up. It just started spiraling!
