This one cost $6 and about an hour of cutting and some foam from the trash at work.

It holds my Phantom with Zenmuse and fpv tx in the middle.
Phantom TX
2 sets of spare props
4 extra batts
fpv rx
8in fpv LCD + sunshade
FPV cables

It also has some foam on the lid to hold stuff in place.

I tried using the Gopro Hero3 Black on my headmount. The footage is really crappy because I zoomed it in about 500%.

My surfer worked great after I snapped on of his legs. A stainless steel rod and 5 min epoxy did the trick.

A quick Hover test at 120fps in lowlight.
I picked up a Sony action cam (HDR-AS15) today from the Sony store. I didn't get to test it in good light yet. The wifi feature is pretty cool but it took a long time to get it to connect.

DJI Naza over Glamis with crashes (4 min 25 sec)

My quad took a quality double flip dirt dive. Did a few laps around Glamis and had hard landing and chipped a prop. Didn't bring a spare but kept going until pemanent fail.

I bought this on clearence in 2007 for $25 and found it in my garage a couple months ago. Since then I tore out the guts and slapped in a 3060kv brushless water cooled motor, 120 amp ESC, a 5000mah 3 cell lipo.

This thing rocks. Hopefully by summer time I'll be ripping.

After changing frames I had to retune my anti vibration system (details in an earlier Post) and I think I'm ready to try some FPV. Now if I can only find a people free park in OC.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around adjusting the gains for optimum flight.
I think after watching some FF in atti mode that I might have a slight roll oscillation.
Here are a few highlights from this flight, I flew through a couple of trees.
Filmed with a Gopro HD Hero2 and flown with the DJI Naza.

I finally worked out the jello free video but it weighs 3.9lbs AUW.
I used the tubing cut into 2 1/2 inch sections and 2pcs cut into 1in sections. The 1in sections are the main attachment points and the 2 1/2 in are on the front but at the sides to keep my camera mount from rocking side to side.
I got the tubing here.

I got a 4x4in 1/2 #8514k55. Around $10.

That I cut a 2x2 section and sandwiched it between the camera mount and the camera platform.
