As you can see from the Aquila, at the beginning of my blog, after 40 years I still love the blue and white covering layout
Now I'm just waiting for health and weather to align for its maiden flight... I hope that will be very soon

It's hard to beat the feel and quality of good old Futabas, especially when they are so easy to upgrade them with new technology

I have decided on tan for the cabins, I think it looks nice?
I need to do a tiny bit of work to damaged hull spots but this should be moving along nicely from here

My re-done Heng Long Panther basket case.... no historical accuracy here folks, but, I like it
It also took two brushed esc's and a 2.4ghz upgrade to make it fun

I still love the old stuff (must be because I am )
Added a mini-t and a Victory Hawk Beast.... I didn't think I would like the mini-t as much as I do parts on order to convert to a mini desert buggy
The Beast is a piece of junk, but a fast one, since it got the brushless.

Many happy times volunteering at Hobbies Galore.
Gary Johnson was my hero, a fantastic person to everyone touched by his presence.
Joel was just a kid then, his dad did everything to support his obvious talent as a driver..... it payed off
