Can't wait till this comes to my front door!

After a long awaited finish of my Airwolf getting airborne, here is the maiden flight video. Nothing too exciting, just your basic hovering making sure the thing will actually fly...LOL. A little vibration I need to look into and also I will need to swap out the springs on the retracts as I feel they're just too soft for the weight of the bird. Meanwhile, enjoy.....

Ok, here is my continued progress. A few more pics to show where I am currently. Next step, working on modifying the weapons and after that complete my FBL setup and install the mechanics into the fuse. Also thinking about adding nav. lights as well.....stay tune.

NOTE: With the install of the BW FBL head, some adjustments must be made in order to achieve the correct travel of the +/- pitch. You will notice at mid stick the pitch will not be at 0 as set when it was the FB version. Extending the linkage rods will be needed. Also, you must swap out the 600 size linkage balls on the swash to a 700 size in order for the links to work....Continue Reading
