I was busy today. The power supply is tested and wired, just need to add the cooling fans and it is complete. The router itself is assembled and ready to be mated with the computer. The pc is all set, updates done and cleaned up.

As of right now the only thing i am missing is a Male - Male printer cable. I am sure i have one in the garage and will be on the hunt tomorrow. Hopefully i get to do some testing and take it for a drive.

The power supply turned out quite well. I brought the connections out to a terminal block i snagged at menards. there is ground and then i brought out taps for 5v, 12v, and 24v. I could have also brought out a 17 volt lead but couldnt find a reason for doing so. The Supply is producing 25.3 volts of power, so i hope things will run smoothly.

Today i received my Bluumaxx CNC router kit. This will be my first foray into CNC and this kit seemed to me like it would be a good fit. So far assembly is pretty straight forward and none to complicated. Shawn from Bluumaxx provides some 3D PDF files that allow you to rotate around and zoom in on all the parts so you can find there placement and bolts required.

The table is made of 3/4" mdf per the recommendations of the kit maker. The supports underneath are PVC and help to keep the table uniform all around.

The power box will house (2) 12 volt computer power supplies wired to produce 24 volts. Being a computer technician means i tend to have a lot of these kinds of parts laying around so i figured i would re-purpose them. That and i have an over abundance of printer cables, so a source for wiring this whole thing together will not be a problem.
