Well I got the engine issues worked out on this plane and it time for some fun. I only have 3 flights on it, and I never could get it to run right, now it should be a different story. Maybe one afternoon this week I can fly it. I can't wait

This past weekend I had the chance to fly at the Huckfest in Wa. All I can say is OFF THE HOOK.... To start with the field and club house are first class. I bet one of if not the nicest fields in the country. Air condition, Showers, covered viewing, obesveration deck the whole 9 yards.
I took my fomie stuff with me as well as a 2 meter glider. I was able to do the Drone Drop for everyone with the F-22, I also flew the combat event, had a blast..
I saw some of the best flying in my life. The pilots were world class and the same can be said for the show in general. I can't wait till next year I will do it again but I will take my Edge 540T. here are some pics enjoy....Continue Reading

Just a quick update: I made a mod to the F-22, my wife found some mini foam jet planes and picked me up a few. They sat on my bench for weekes and one morning BINGO it hit me..hook em up and drop them off the F-22. To make a long story short, it was a hit I took them to the field and everyone loved them. The kids had a blast chasing them down and everone else loved to watch them glide down. I added a mini servo hooked up to a switch with a home made "claw" to hold a eyelet on the mini. I got the Idea from the robot guys. works great I am taking it with me to the HuckFest in Wa. this weekend...

Well I had this old Aspire glider in the hanger for years, the time has come to get it in the air. I got this plane at a garage sale for 10 bucks, it was in preaty good shape but, I did recover it and changed it to a power glider as it was a slope plane. I cut the nose off and gutted the inside to start. then I added a fire wall and a blue wonder motor with a 25 amp esc running a 1500 3 cell as well as a 8x4 folding prop. I put the micro servos in the rear and redid the pushrods.
Took it out today for her maiden and what a wild ride it was. It took all the skill I had to get her down and home safe. first off I had the rudder on the rudder channel on the radio, I had to change it to the aliron channel it worked much better. the trim had to be reset on the elevader because it wanted to pull up the whole time, with the trim all the way up, so I reset it and it is fine now. Also I had to make a canopy for it, I used a Dr. Pepper bottle to do the job. All I can say is what a great flying bird, If I would have known that before, I would have done it much sooner. I can't wait to go gliding at the field with the guys.
