In chronological order,
LANYU HARVARD AT-6
Wing Span: 900mm
Attained autumn 2010. Decided to give the hobby a go.
1st set up: 370 Motor and Gear box (1:5.3), 9.6V 650mAh Ni-MH, 10x7 SF Prop (I think). Poos.
2nd set up: Dynam Speed 400 Outrunner (similar to BM2408-21), 18A ESC, 11.1V 1300mAh, APC 8x6. Modified motor stick mount, wing mount, landing gear.
3rd set up: C28-30B 1000Kv Outrunner, 25A ESC, 11.1V 1300mAh, APC 9x6. Modified motor mount to standard cross.
Status: Flying, much loved.
PIPER PAWNEE PA-36.
Wing Span: 1m
Built winter 2010. Design based on http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=748508 but converted to 3mm coroplast.
Set up: Dynam Speed 400 Outrunner (similar to BM2408-21), 18A ESC, 11.1V 1300mAh, APC 8x6.
Status: Dormant. Showed promise, then had nasty crash, awaiting possible resurrection.
DAVE WEST COROPLAST MIG-7
Built winter 2010-summer 2011. Modified to suit 3mm coroplast.
Wing Span: 1138mm
Status: Flying. Fantastic to fly, easy to launch, rock solid handling.
Quick Build MIG-29 from 6mmFlyRC
Wing Span: 720mm
Built winter/spring 2010. Converted to 3mm coroplast.
Set up: C35-30 1700Kv Outrunner, 30A ESC, 11.1V 1300mAh, APC 7x5.
Status: Flying. Fantastic plane, very fast and noisy thanks to the coroplast. Tough as nails. Parachute glides down when battery runs out. Always popular at the field. Has the standard aileron linkage mod.
