I picked up the Sony Bloggie camera based off the recommendation from my LHS owner and I have been checking out some of the videos from Youtube and think I will be happy with it. Does anyone know a link to how to set it up for FPV? I think it would be fun to try, but I am afraid of a lag and crashing. At least I would be able to use it for my friends to watch while I fly.

I have been subbing for all grades from kindergarten to 12th and I have discovered something amazing about elementary school. If at any point the kids arent working, all I have to say is "if everyone gets finished before time is up, we will play heads up 7 up." After I say this, the kids will work with such enthusiasm, everyone tries their best, even the "slower" kids. I am sure I have solved The USA's education problems.

Now I don't know if you guys have ever played this game, but it is as simple as choosing 7 people and have the rest of the class put their heads down. Then the chosen 7 go out and tap a person who has their head down. Finally, the people who were tapped stand up and guess which one of the chosen 7 tapped them.

I guess the moral of the story is why can't I just be content with heads up seven up? I got into this hobby and all it does is take up time and money.

Nevermind, I think I am way happier with rc flying for sure!

It is above freezing for the first time in nearly three months! The only problem is that the wind is blowing between 25 and 30mph. I cannot wait for summer! I want to wear shorts and complain about how hot it is and see some green on the trees. Man I am glad that groundhog saw his shadow.

I saw on the E-Flite website that they were coming out with a Hawker Hurricane and its projected release date is late April. Just in time for spring! I may have to use a little tax return money and find a way to fund this purchase.

Is there any way we could get the AMA to lobby in congress and find a way to get daylight savings time removed? I am not sure which one gives us an extra hour of daylight, but I want it to be light out until 930 year round. At least then I can get home from work and get a couple of flights in before sunset. Who is with me?!

Well, I used to be a pretty good golfer. I would play nearly every day and practice all the time. I started golfing while my father was stationed in San Antonio at Randolph AFB. I tried out for the Judson golf team and made it. My first tournament I shot a 128! However, I tried hard and by that tournament the next year I shot an 85. Once I graduated from Osan American HS in Osan South Korea, I enrolled and tried out for golf at Ohio Northern University and made the team. I did well for the Polar Bears and currently hold the single season low scoring average record!

However, I am finding that since I have graduated and have to pay for my own golf, I do not get out as much. I still coach for the team and enjoy my time with the guys, but RC flying has hurt my game! It seems that both hobbies require good weather and sunlight (for the most part). I find myself charging batteries and checking the weather constantly!

My dad and I travel everywhere to play golf. I have played St. Andrews, Royal St. George, Bethpage Black, TPC Woodlands, and a few other famous courses.

Has anyone had this problem! I need to balance my 2 hobbies. I have worked too hard at golf to just stop all together, but I love my RC!

I plan on getting my first Heli soon. I am going to go with a blade Cx3. I want a coaxial heli because I hear they are way easier to fly. I have tried some helis out on realflight and I have some of the basics down.

Does anyone have any tips for me? Or any good mods I can make once I get comfortable with my chopper?

Convinced my fiance to come out and take some pictures in the cold. She did pretty good!
