A lot of people look forward to summer, but for a math tutor summer is the worst. No money coming in, so no going out nice places, theme parks, etc. And in Texas at least it's so hot that being outside is miserable. So with no work, no school, no money, what does one do???

Hopefully I'll find an answer by May 4th.

For the last couple weeks I've been feeling so great. I mean, I have been busy as heck and had little time for anything other than my various forms of work. This weekend I had my son and my cousin (who happens to be 6 months older than my son). We went to the zoo Saturday afternoon with my husband and my in-laws.

Some time while I was there I was looking around at all the pregnant women slightly annoyed... it's never fun to see lots of people pregnant when you can't seem to yourself.

And then I just knew it was okay. I'm good. I'm busier than ever, but my life is satisfying now. I have had to let go of some things and some people, but new things and new people have filled the void that I felt for so long. My husband and son are more than I ever could have dreamed of growing up. I was used to guys who hurt me, cheated, or purposefully made me jealous. I really never thought I'd end up with someone like Lar.

So even if there's no more kids for me I'm good. I'm happy emotionally and spiritually and I really can't imagine things being better at this point in time.

My mother-in-law got us one for our 5 and a half anniversary. (Yeah I know, I NEVER think anyone will get us something for our half anniversary.)

So nowwww, we have one in the living room and our older one is in our bedroom, so now we can have seperate tvs and a full screen. Seriously wanting to bounce of the rooftops. I've always been so hampered by split-screen when it came to fps games. Gonna REALLY beat the boys now!!

Just too excited not to hold it in.

I'm sure I'll get over it, especially once it starts interfering with my work, but for now my facebook is always open while I work on video projects. It's funny cause I used to have a myspace account but I never really used it. I have a website I almost never use (personal, I definitely use my business website any time I can).

Anyways, was wondering if anyone was having the same problem.

I love comedy but honestly am a little wary of stand-up comedians. For one thing, you never know what it's going to be like unless you have seen their whole routine, and even then they do change it. If they get on something that upsets you it is REALLY difficult to get out of the situation. (Anyone else been in a really packed comedy house?)

Anyways, I just finished watching Ron White's new bit from Comedy Central. We taped it a while back but I've been too nervous to watch. I laughed from the first joke to the last (though I had to have one explained to me in the middle ). It was great, the best laugh I've had in a long time... makes me wish to go back to Hyena's (the local comedy club).

So I think he would be among my favorite comedians now... him and the chinaman which I think fewer people have heard of.
Is there anyone else you think that just shouldn't be missed???

As if life was not hectic enough...

I got a job as a math tutor at the nearby college. It's only during the Spring and Fall semesters but it's work and I definitely enjoy it. It's only part time which works out well for me. But I have to keep up with my math and take more high level math classes. (which is exhausting on it's own) and I never know whether I'll have a job next semester.

Also, my husband and I are working on starting a business. Videography and transfer of home movies to DVD or digital video files. I'm in the process of transferring two entire home movies collections for people, and I have a wedding slated for later this year, but other than that it's been pretty slow.

My son just graduated Kindergarden. I can't believe it. Time really flies.

And for our 5th anniversary my husband and I went on a cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman... it was wonderful, the best vacation I ever had!

We all have other hobbies, I assume. One hobby is more than enough to take up all your free time, but at least most are not satisfied with just one.

I do video editing and filming when I can - mostly for home movies and mostly for people I know. It's a lot of fun though and I wish so much I could go into it as a career someday. But for now I'm satisfied just doing it for fun.

I have other hobbies like writing - mostly poetry. The one that is newest to me though is drawing. Since my hubby got me into anime, mostly I draw in anime style, but I'm trying to branch out. Anyways, here are a couple of the ones that I have finished:

It's funny, most nights when I can't stay up everyone's around on IM and begging me to stay up later. The one night I think to myself "tonight I'll stay up late, catch up on some things, and chat" no one is stirring. A Saturday night/Sunday morning no less.

I caught up on everything within the first couple hours after everyone was in bed. Now what am I supposed to do? I drank loads of caffeine so I could stay up. *kicks imaginary rock*
