Finally got her in the air! A couple of noticeable differences w/mods;

1) more thrust from the same electronics
2) quiter/faster but lost a lot of the "woosh"

I'll get some better video on the next flight,as on this one I was keeping her high for obvious "maiden" reasons!

Some stats before the Maiden;

All Up weight..............1396g (49.28oz)
Bird w/o lipos..............1001g (35.36oz)
4s 40c 3000 lipo...........347g (12.32oz)
3s 450 lipo(on bec).........48g (1.6oz)

Thrust as measured in the video and settling a bit = 1464g (51.64oz), the scale read 1530g (53.97oz) at its' peak. Here's a short vid on how I tested it;

Finally got the chance to maiden the F-16 and it was hair raising at least! I think the cg was off and will adjust next time out. This bird really scoots, after calming down the last few, I was cruising at 20% percent throttle for the couple "go arounds" The cg was at the recommended 110mm.

Couple of pics on the progress of the Lander F-16. Decided to go with a different scheme, there seem to be all kinds of the just grey ones. I call this one the "Propulsion Test Platform" since I'll be using it to try different fan combinations.

Ok so my friend and I have RC/Powers F-22 v2s his with the super mega jet mine with an Align 400 2550kv. His could out climb mine so I had this 450 size 2700kv and installed it. Now it's a missile First flight no trouble, second flight I pull out of inverted from 30,000 feet (300'scale!) into a dive for a low level high speed pass, At about 100' I ease back on the elevators and they both RIP off! She goes in at about 30 a degree angle/ at least 1000kph (50mph!) At these velocities Depron doesn't have a chance! It took about a minute after the crash for the two elevators to float down.How's this for an Irony; where she hit ground there was a plastic bag less than a foot away! Guess things happen just like their supposed to! Lesson; the next one (I think the new T-50v2) will get elevator glassing or similar! Here are the FAA Crash Recovery photos.
