Here are some pictures I wanted to share of my Christmas morning flight! I'm just getting into fpv and wow it is so different! It's like I'm re-learning(almost) to fly. On the second flight it didn't go to well. I eventually crashed, but for the most part it didn't seem that bad. The transmitter antenna was bent 90 degrees, but I bent it back so hopefully its okay. I'm also including pictures after the crash haha. Anyways, Merry Christmas!
I've been working on this for a few weeks now. This is the x525 you can find all over ebay with the flight controller, escs, motors, etc. I got it in mind for videos because a few years a go I tried with helis, but they were much harder to work with to get good video. This quad did take some work(and some more $) to smooth out but it flies great. I switched to apc mr props, which are awesome and more efficient than the stock(really unbalanced). It came with the multiwii se v2.5, which I'm still figuring out how to program but I did get it flying pretty good. Here are some pics. I didn't take much, because I know you can find builds all over the internet for the x525. The white piece is the homemade camera mount. I just shot video with the mount and I'm working editing a video!
These are actually photos from a year and a half ago. I just remembered I had them. It was a great flyer. It tracked great even in breezy conditions. Unfortunately I crashed into a fence(not the day these were taken) which ruined the whole front end of the plane but I plan to rebuild it! I

Well its wasn't really slope soaring as i usually had the motor on around 25% or less because when I turn the motor off the wind would push the plane behind the slope...but anyways its a Tech One popwing I just got. I bought the kit only as i already had this motor and esc laying around. I'm using a 2s 800mah lipo.
So here is the latest flight with my exi 450 pro. I upgraded the head to an actual pro style head. I've noticed it to be a lot more stable but the cyclic control is decreased. This is also a test of the spy keychain camera I got on ebay for $7 shipped.
