I took it all apart, put it all back together. One simple copter that will send shock-waves through an industry.

Hi killbucket this is ____ i just ordered my syma S031 2 days ago from ____. I should get it next week. I seen some of your blogs. Did I make the wrong decision?
What advice do you have for a newbie? I have a S107G and I love it. After I ordered the S031, I found out that it has a fair bit of problems any advice will be appreciated thanks for your time ____.

Well, you came to the right place. I do not sell copters, and I have owned more three channel models than any other human who also does not sell them. I really like three-channel!

The best way to enjoy the s031 is as a static model, sorry to say.

Make your own Lexan RC car or truck body? Why not. I got lucky at the plastics shop when they mis-picked some material a few years back: I got 18 sheets of .063" thick clear MAKROLON polycarb, and they didn't charge me for it. Since they couldn't use it, they gave it to me.

A bit tough to cut, but the results should be better than bulletproof. My Tamiya Blackfoot custom-chassis'd truck will have a big flatbed Mack AC Bulldog look, but be done up very modern. the body will be gloss black...I think. ?I just found some bright orange paint.

I decided that my little BB-gun project needed some good old Killbucket Over-the-Top-ness.
Coaxial Mini-gun, that should do it.

The teeny-tiny M134 Mini-gun is only 3" in diameter, and is powered by a cut-down cordless drill motor and planetary transmission. More on this detachable puppy later. It's here for a good reason, you'll see.

Starting to smooth out the cement bonds on my custom Blackfoot chassis, and blend the upper parts into one solid component.

I cannot get the frame to twist at all now. Tamiya's clever Blackfoot truck sub-frames flex a bit, but the whole structure is easily three times stronger than needed.

I've drawn up a Tamiya BlackFoot Xtreme with a stretched wheelbase.
Not really sure what "stock wheelbase" for a Tamiya BlackFoot is (I haven't mike'd the front arms that came with it yet), but the added length is exactly 5.3 inches, making for a 16+" space from front to rear axles.

I made up a set of rock rings for a Tamiya BlackFoot/Wild Dagger/Wild Willy2/Etc... on my ShopBot.

They snap onto the outer rim nice and snug, as if Tamiya made them (sorry, not for sale, the price I'd quote will stop your heart).

I also made wheel centers to help change the look to a custom wheel for the Tamiya BlackFoot Xtreme.
These will be hit with adhesion promoter spray, and them wrinkle-blacked forever.

You can see the whole thing evolve on my FaceBook. CAD is 90% done, first parts will be made in the next day or so. Come follow along on the Spandau Ballet Build.

WOW! The latest colors for the S107G are beautiful. Look for this color- avoid getting a clone (for a while at least).

I'll have to film one of these flying, they are really smooth in operation.

Pretty, huh? One of the best ways to avoid clones is to go after the latest colors only.

More pics on the site, and blog.
