Well started flying 3 or more yrs ago, made the move from nitro trucks. My first starter plane was a HobbyZone Mini-Super Cub,then I moved up to the Super Cub,had lots of fun with that trainer!!!
I was hooked and then made the move over to a PZ Corsair,I was lovin' the flying more and more,It didnt take long before I started to put more power into it.
I have always been a speed nut,and soon found the best place to fulfill it was in the air.As time went on I bought a few more war birds,GreatPlanes P-47 Thunderbolt (first balsa) and had a pz mustang around that was used on 4s and a eflite 480,PZ Extra on 4s also.
It was about a year and a half in and I found a Stryker......I was hooked!!My first one had some mild carbon and a HET 2w25,it was fun to say the least!!The Stryker hooks were in deep!!It didnt take long before I started out building my own, with much of my knowledge coming from other RCG Stryker nuts.
This is my latest creation, its built with .300'' carbon arrow shafts, all the shafts a 1 continuios length in the direction they run,it is very riged with no flex in it,i also installed wood trailing edge and 1/4 Du-bro hinges on 1.5'' balsa elevons.
