Here's my take on XPS after the many giant scale issues I've had with the 8ch rx - FLY NANOS!! I got rid of all the 8ch rx's in my giant scale stuff and replaced them with nanos and haven't looked back. Haven't had an issue ever since.
The T-rex 600 heli crash I had was with a bad 8ch rx - XPS verified it was bad. I put a new 8ch in it and am on flight 130 (after the crash), no issues.
So...don't put the 8ch's in anything with a gas motor. I have several 8ch's in nitro planes and electrics w/o issue.
But, nano's are cheaper. So fly nano's in everything.
