I'm trying out the foam and brown paper building technique here, with something along the lines of a foam WOT-4.

I'm a bit behind on the build log, but will try and catch up soon. Fuselage is covered and drying, wing cores are cut, joined and drying, with the LE attached.

Here is a picture of the uncovered fuselage, with the balsa longerons drying.

I was wondering around B&Q one day when I cam across the pipe lagging 60mm size. So eventually... here is a Lightning made with quartered lagging. plans below, and more details on the thread. (Here)

I've spent the last couple of weeks putting together a cub from the excellent plans here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291173. The aim was to make something for my son to learn to learn to fly.

It was a very enjoyable build. I love the way the bits slot together!

It was a bit on the windy side for the maiden flight down on the beach - but she went well. Now we just want a very still evening to trim her.
