I have DJI 550 frame and i realized that it missing something. The frame is missing landing gear, camera mount plate, top battery plate and FC plate. so i designed some add on kit for DJI 550, people can just install the kit to the existing DJI 550 without drilling single hole to the frame.

the kit is made of 2 mm epoxy material paint in 3 layers to black color and with anodized black aluminum.

I want to design and build a small and less weight quad for my system. The total frame weight is 220 grams. The aluminum arm is 29 cm long. Both top and bottom center plate is cut from 2 mm epoxy sheet. The battery will be installed on the top and you can attach Gopro directly to the small bottom plate. I am using motor 2212 850 KV motor from rctimer.com and hobbyking 20 amp + simon firmware and TC i2c converter.

Complete quad and hex frame for sell, can be used for both quad or hex

contact email : noppita@hotmail.com

my goal is to make frame that look and same size and same weight to original frame.

i try to make it less costly to make it, so my finishing is less concern to me. as long as it can do it function, i care less about how it look, but i feel that it look very good compare to the price.

frame info.
2 center frame made from 1 mm epoxy sheet, paint in black with primer, black paint and clear color
1 battery holder and cam mount holder is made from 2mm epoxy sheet, paint in black with primer, black paint and clear color
many 3 mm nut and bolt
6 of 12 mm black anodized aluminum arm with red LED for front arm.
landing gear that look almost same as original, same weight

you might have to take out a drill to enlarge some hole for better alignment

assembly VDO is provided

do not laugh at my cd cover, it is easy to attach and de-attach and protect electronic from damage, it save my electronic many time.

you will like it, i think. ask me more if you have question.

center frame of quad and hex is same, so i will send out hex, and you just have to not use the 2 arms for quad or use 6 arm for hex.

vdo assembly instruction.

quad and hexcopter frame assemble (14 min 59 sec)
