First F3K contest this season and my first win - still not sure how that happened

I've been putting in long hours on the field trimming my gliders and learning to read the ground signs, but more importantly I've learned to keep my cool on the field. In retrospect I used to be a little overexcited during the rounds and not putting my resources to use in structured way.

Man it felt good to wind up and chuck that polaris.
Spring has been surprisingly kind to us in the southern part of Sweden. I'm currently breaking in my polaris and experimenting with flight phases, cg and some secret mixes

For this season my goal is to be much more meticulous with my setup and try to keep my cool on the field.

What a fantastic winter break in SoCal. Temperatures in the upper 70's for three weeks and incredible sunsets. It's been a pleasure to hook up with the local pilots and share thoughts on flying and flying machines. Leaving tomorrow for Sweden but have one more friendly contest in the morning in Poway.

I headed down to Romans in the south of France for a euro contest. It's always a pleasure to meet other pilots and just have a good time - the outcome is second to that.
