With new foam nose... filled with lead. -

Wrapped with fiber-glass reinforced tape to reduce flex. -

After fourth fifteen minute flight, and crash. Moved the lead out of the nose and into the front end of the glider to try to minimize chances of this happening again. (OK, improved landing techniques would be more important! :-) -

After a gorilla glue and more tape fix, it's flying like almost new. After this photo added more packing tape to the leading edges to protect against the dry spikey plants that were taking small chunks of foam on each landing.
My neighbor game me their slow stick, which lasted less than 10 flights before I parked in a tree, some 30' high. Average flight time between crashes was probably 20 seconds, OK, 13 seconds. So then I bought a Radian.
