Here's a few pics from post-flight of my HE-162 Salamander. I painted the cockpit, added lite weight wheels from my Blitz RC F-117, strenghten the horizontal stabilizer and added a tail skid. I'm thinking about adding a thrust tube. Neat jet!

Best,
Tony

Obviously, with a name like xplaneguy, I must love X-Planes. You bet!

Here's a few pics of our new XB-70 Valkyrie. My daughter and I love this jet and are hoping to get the maiden done this week.

Our good friend, Col. Joe Cotton was the XB-70 Test Force Director and First Flight Pilots of both Ship 1 & 2. Back in 2000, I had the rare privilege of sitting in the cockpit with Col. Cotton for a hour, discussing the his career and the aircraft. Truly one of the many high points of my life.

If Col. Cotton comes back to Edwards AFB in October for the "Gathering of Eagles", I plan to bring him out to Rosamond Dry Lake to fly this EDF XB-70 for him.

All the best,
Tony

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to fly the first sample of the New Piper J-3 Cub from Banana Hobby. This little Cub was a blast to fly and even handled a 10 mph wind with no problem. I'm looking forward to adding it to our fleet in a few weeks.

Again more pictures from our fun evening of picture taking.

The P-38 from Banana Hobby is awesome! I did the maiden flight yesterday morning at 5:45am and it looked stunning in the early sky over the Mojave Desert. Back in the 1940's P-38s filled the Antelope Valley sky, flying out of Muroc Army Airfield (now Edwards AFB). Truly awesome to see this P-38 against the same backdrop.

Tony

More pics from last night. Here's photos of our new Parkzone T-28. I put off getting this aircraft for several years and I shouldn't have. What a great, well balanced aircraft for beginners and experienced pilots. Painted the prop tips and added black wing walking stripes.

Tony

My daughter and I had some fun taking pictures of a few of our planes last night by our new home. Here's our new Dynam Skybus/DC-3 from Grayson Hobby. Added GWS 8x4 3-bladed prop cutdown to 7x4. Great scale flying aircraft! This one will be painted as a C-47 Skytrain in D-Day markings.
