This is ONE of my other hobbies, This is a copy of a 1960's Stock Class Hydroplane that I built for summer fun on the lake. It's wood framed with Fiberglass finish. made my own steam cabinet for some of the longerons that were custom cut at a local mill for the project. 1967 50hp Mercury currently pushes it in the low 60's but believe me in a 13 ft boat high 50's to low 60's is a thrill.

I have been building and flying R/C Airplanes since 1980
Took a few years away from the hobby in 1995 to build performance boats for a few years than got into Mountain Snowmobiling, age and self preservation made me abandon both full size Race Boats and Hill Climbing Snowmobiles so I got back into R/C Airplanes and rediscovered my passion for Golden Age Racers, especially Gee Bee's. My vision is not what it was when I was younger so Gas powered Bigger Aircraft was and is the answer. Love the hobby and the people involved, lets all get out there and fly the wings off our models.
