These are some of my more recent shoots give or take a few that I hadn't put in anything. 95% of the shots are from my Hexakopter. A few are from a center city Phildelphia penthouse I was working from. All are taken with the Canon S90. Many are tiltshifted(made to look miniturized) that's the reason for the blur in some of the pics. The music was for a project I did a little while back, just wanted to get it out there. It's done by myself on Protools Virtual Instruments. Thanks for watching if you do.
Hey guys we were doing some tests last week to make sure all our FPV equipments still worked(been a while) and to see how fast we can shoot holes on a golf course. We started on a nice easy par 3 and came away with some good usable results. Nothing great but enough quality to show to a few perspective clients. These are not those shots! This is just some of the rest of one of the flights. It's not horrible IMHO but not the cream of what we shot and even that was not perfect. Oh well still a work in progress I guess, just thought I'd share!
Almost have a product I can be happy about....almost.
These are some shots and footage of some projects we've done but mostly R&D. Quality is only getting better.
These videos have circulated around the Multirotored boards for a while but wasn't sure if that many people are aware of the amazing things these Multirotored craft are capable of. These guys are at UPenn and these are completely autonomous craft. Amazing stuff.
I was testing a new battery configuration today to determine expected flight time. I got board after the 11 minute mark and because 12+ minutes was new territory for me I wanted to keep the Hexa close. I decided to pull out the S90 and capture some stills while the Hexa was in GPS and Altitude Lock. It wasn't what I had hoped as far as flight time but did respectible with 16 minutes before the low voltage alarm went off and I landed.
Just some flying and practicing. It's been forever since I've flown anything other than my Hexakopter so it was nice to fly and not care about crashing.
The song is something I wrote on Protools using the virtual instruments. Thanks for watching.
At a Veterans Cemetary/Memorial. The footage was taken from my Hexakopter. The Music was written a while ago by me on Protools. Just thought it fit the somber mood of the subject. I never served in the Military but I have utmost respect for the Men and Women that protect our country. We all should thank them more.
The song was written, recorded, programmed, and mixed in about 4 hours all by me on Protools and my guitars so it's a little rough but not too bad IMHO. The Stills are taken with either the Canon SD780 or the Canon S90. Thanks for watching.
Just 2 stills from the Hexakopter and a Canon SD780. They're no where near the best I've gotten, just 2 I messed with in Lightroom. Using the MD1 Mount.
FPV set up for Hexa and my cluttered work table
After waiting a few months my RTF hexakopter arrived yesterday from Alex at Next-Gen RC. The thing is beautiful. Haven't flown yet, still figuring everything out but I hope to fly tomorrow. Should be a beautiful day with low wind. I just have to make sure all the goodies are hooked up properly to my TX. The Altitude hold, GPS position hold and the camera adjuster. Just wanted to show the newest addition to the fleet.
Just messing around yesterday. I love this plane.
A couple of factors made this a bad first flight. One was the fact that the winds were 10-15+ with some strong gusts. 2nd I was a little leary about where we were flying. Not as familiar with the surroundings as I would have liked. The golf course all looked the same. Most importantly I could barely see with the goggles I was using. Myvu shades. This is what made me crash. They were horrible in the field. At home no problem, in the field the glare made it impossible to see. The video feed was fine, just couldn't see the monitors in the glasses. Oh well not a total loss so...
These are my toys, and my Rc area. I finally got my FPV rig up and running. Going to test it on the plane today or saturday.
Got to take out the foamie today. Great little airplane, tons of fun. I highly recommend!
Hey guys, got to take the Yak out for 3 batteries before the Eagles game. This thing is great. Took it to a baseball field a minute from my house. Gonna be my new spot for the quick winter flights which is awesome. My wife was filming and I almost drilled her at the end. This is my first foamie and I'm still getting used to it but this thing is a hovering machine. It was a little windy but it handled it pretty well. I got to get my skills up, I'm sure this little plane will teach me alot. Very Happy.
