Cool Pictures Galore
My friend Jim at the flying field took some great pictures from last Sunday.
It was a great day full of flying. I mostly flew my 51" AJ Slick and 46" Vyper.
I have now completely changed radio systems, I have upgraded from my Dx7 to a Futaba 8FG.
I love my new radio, so many programming options and its very easy to setup. The only bad thing is I am still not used to flying with it, but now that I have my simulator cable I am getting more comfortable.
Four more days of school left and I can enjoy a full summer of flying!

Maiden Flight Of My 3DHS 72" Extra 330
I finally maidened my new gasser ... my new "pride and joy" 3DHS Extra 330.
My setup:
DLE-30
Hs-985 servos all around
Smartfly Dual Reg
Turnigy BEC for Ignition Regulator..
Three Thunder Power 1300 2s lipos.
It was a colder than usual day, and I was battling a nasty cold .. but I had to fly it.
I was so nervous as I never have built a gasser myself. After getting the engine started and basically tuned I took off into a nice headwind. It flew PERFECT. No trim and the CG was right on the money.
It flies absolutely incredible. Tracking in knife-edge was superb and flew precision very well. It also 3D's like a maniac ! Rolling loops and snap rolls were easy and rolling harriers were smooth as silk.
Tomorrow I am going to take it for a couple more flights after school ...

As you can see if flies very well and it very fun !
He added some right thrust and moved the battery and it flies even better than the original.

20" Foam Stormbach ...
My friend has done a great job tweaking and getting the best performance out the this plane.

For a 20" wingspan plane it is totally 3D capable and is very fast also. It rolls very fast and is a ball to fly.
It also can be built in many other sizes.

This is such a great flying plane.
Very stable in post stall flight yet has the ability to fly fast and be precise.
