Hi Rcplane lovers,

after the untimely death of Ecomrc Pilatus PC 21 for a serious problem to my Spektrum DX8 .....(later repaired by horizonhobby ) I decided for this beautiful 9 PC bought in Germany at an attractive price and converted to electric for ease of use. Not being prepared for electric , I had to get a hatch for in/out lipos easily without removing the wing every time . The work was very easy and took about an hour of work . The construction is the same as many ARF on the market, the parties do not need adjustments being well built and very sturdy. I reinforced with fiber glass the retracts area, i build a new nose retract support, double check all bonding . The kit contains a complete set of air retracts with suspension legs but they are junk , the trunions are made of plastic and the play is remarkable. I replaced with electrics from Hobbyking and better aluminum legs . The hardware included in the kit is well made except the spinner.... will replace it as soon as possible . The covering film is ORACOVER but I had to go over the whole model with hot iron because it is very loose .... maybe it was in stock for a long time!! The end result is pleasant and the color scheme is fantastic....probably great visible in the air....

Hi edf lovers,

i started, few days ago, build of budget jet kit L 39 from Hobbyking. The kit costs (after log in) around 60 $.....fantastic price!!!!
Of course I did not expect much about the quality of the product .... however, when the box arrived, I was surprised! The box has small size, everything is very well packed in plastic bags and soft film antishock. The fuselage is composed of 2 parts to screw together .... very practical especially in the assembly phase. Wings, elevator and rudder are made of balsa and covered with the usual chinacote film .... but not too bad. There are two wing tanks made of fiberglass, canopy with wooden support, various accessories. The painting is very good ... but because of the polyester resin with which it is made the fuselage tends to crack easily in the case of small bumps. The size is for a 100 mm fan but a nice 90 is excellent. The silhouette of L 39 is pleasant, the most marked difference to be more "scale" refers to the front air intakes ... too advanced and too big. The plane has no flaps and even the air duct. Considering the price is great .... especially if the model will fly well!
