So I got to go to Joe Nall this year with Travis, Laura Jane and Paul on Thursday. But despite only going during the week there was some great planes and great crashes. Personally I prefer the plane or heli to leave in one piece and come back in the same piece but when there is a crash I do like to see the aftermath. I walked all the way from the main line to the 3D line which was much longer than I thought it was but I got some decent pics and got to see the RCGroups golf cart. note to self: Take the bus next time. Watched the the Heli line for a while before I making my way back to the main line to watch the noon demo. Being as it was a little warm we made our way back to the town and ate some BK in the air conditioning. While I enjoyed the main line I really liked the float planes and electric line being a little smaller than the main and 3D lines. But one of the coolest things I saw when I was down there was the night flying! Both myself and travis have LED strips on our planes and do fly at night but not where there are 7-8 planes flying around. One particular "plane" that I saw for night flying was R/C kites that I thought was awesome! I wish he would start to make and sell them because I really want one...or two...or a half a dozen These were the coolest things I have seen in a long time and I cant wait to get my hands on them. All in all I left with 3GB of pictures, awesome memories and a sun burn from hell.

So I got the corsair running with the new 3536-10 and a 60 amp ESC from HeadsUpRC.com and 3 2200mAh 3s 30C blue lipos from HobbyPartz.com. Well first flight went fantastic! The plane is fast flat out but the unlimited vertical performance is awesome. I still need to find out about how to program the ESC because I want to turn the motor timing to High and get a Soft Voltage Cutoff instead of the motor just shutting off I guess its time start working on my pilot. I have the dremel ready and its time to start cutting

Well Im off to Joe Nall tomorrow at 9 in the morning. I have the camera charging and I have my 4GB memory stick ready! Im going to have lots of pics and videos tomorrow!

Well the Parkzone 480 fell apart on me in flight the other day so I ordered some parts from HeadsUpRC.com and CustomRCParts.com. The new motor and ESC have not arrived yet but the motor mount came in today form Custom RC parts. Its a good looking motor mount and I look forward to having it mounted to my plane.

Well we all broke a plane today and only one was because of pilot error. Travis got a new Parkzone P-51D BL and the maiden flight was today. All was good until he did an inverted loop and the battery came out of the slot, knocked off the canopy and caused him to crash. The end result was a fuse that was broke in half. I dropped a 2200 3s 30C in my corsair with the end result being the motor pulling itself apart. Not very happy about that so im calling horizon tomorrow about both planes. All in all not such a good day.
