I have a DX6i, and the GWS elevon mixer I got doesn't work. So here is what I have, video below:
1) Vectoring on/off (elevator only is switchable, rudder always on)
2) Elevator and rudder vectoring, follows elevator.
3) Nozzles fixed at positive pitch, full elevator control (high alpha?)
4) No roll control due to mixing limitations and GWS mixer not working.
I have more up vectoring than down, It was hard to get enough throw going. I figured up would be most benificial. I am trying to fill the gaps between the nozzles and the air frame, but testing shows most of the air is redirected with little seeping through the gaps.
Servos are HS-82MGs. All of the 82MG servos I have have some play, and buzz alot. But they are tough as nails.
Was tough to show them off with one hand holding the camera lol (had to work rudder and elevator with one hand)
