Mog wing is ready for covering after one layer of extreme tape. My friend in the tree is saying his prayers (he is wanting me to get this plane done so he can have a mog lunch).

Cut Elevons down and attached 3" to each wing tip and glued 3/32 ply to each tip. This should make for a faster Mog in the turns, maybe less flutter at speed.

Took me 7 hr 25 min. to build, came in at 11.5 oz.
I never could figure out what way to put the wing tips on. I think as long as they match you should be ok.

Zagi is started and should be finished in a week so I can start on the Gulp, sorry Steve the Zagi was on the bench first.
Runway will be dirt this year and if I can get some more dirt to level it out I hope to plant the grass in the fall.

I have not come in contact with balsa, foam,or transmitter in over 145 days. Work and home projects have been keeping me tied up for to long. Will get back at it soon, pushed the AR-1 aside and will start on the Zage for light wind. I tried to get my hands on another Electron 60 but they do not make them any more, Why? So I sent off for a Gulp DS II hope to have the Zage done before it arrives.

Bathroom is comming along with the shower wall up and some mud on the walls. AR wing tips are done and I spent some time up at the hill wishing the wind would blow.

Marcus did a good job on his wood shop project. Think I need him to finish my wing tips.
Bathroom is moving along with the floor in and sheet rock up.

Ok Mark let me know that I started that AR-1 a number of years ago, this is true. It would seem that after I acquired foam planes my hands have been tied up with strapping tape and I heard it was not good to mix tape with balsa dust. Add in a little remodeling job and the time gets away from you.
Must be wise with time, it is so short.
