Inspired by BYOB, I built this small bipe. Sorry for the empty airframe, I switch the gears between more airplanes. Currently in mini - delta.

- OR - Scale effect quatnification?

I wonder, if two airplanes of same wing loading and planform would perform equally, if one was several (1, 2, ...5,...) times larger than the other. Let's drop possible inaccuracies in airfoils & building process etc. Will they glide the same? What about stall speed? How does speed and drag scale with airplane size? How much could one scale down an airplane and keep its properties? There are lots of variables involved, like ari density, relative "air molecule size", airplanes inertia, etc etc, but which does what?

In general, why are larger models easier to fly, and small too twitchy? There might be some interesting things going on which we could exploit to our favor - just like KF airfoils. F1N and micro-scale guys could know , but I'm looking for general-RC usable things, not 10g featherlight 1m contest planes...

There was small airplane buzzing all day above our quiet town on sunday. So I went to that mini-airport (I dont know if it can be called airport... I has only a runway and small hangar ) to see whats going on. I want one of these . They offered me a ride, but fee was just tooooooo high
