Here I am trying out my FBL100 in a confined space - my backyard! I managed to get in inverted fairly easily, and did some light yardwork with it too. Be sure to watch to the end to see the crashes!

I picked up one of these little planes to toss in the back of the car. What a great little flyer! The AS3X system provides great stability and allows the plane to fly in the wind as well as a bit of 3D capability.

You don't see it in this video, but my rudder servo failed on the first flight. Apparently there was a bad batch of "bricks" installed in some of these models. The nice thing about Horizon Hobby products is the first class customer service - they sent me a new brick no charge which I was able to replace myself.

The RTR Impulse 26 is a great little boat - but it's a bit pokey for my tastes. I did a little research and found a suitable 3S power combo - the Turnigy ADS400L 3700kv motor driven by the Birdie 70A Boat ESC.

What a difference the brushless power makes! I recorded a 49km/h top speed (around 30mph) which made the boat a real blast. I was impressed with the hull's stability as well. Even in the mild chop it held pretty steady.

I was pretty happy with the 70A Birdie ESC, except there was no reverse! Not much need for it at these speeds however.

Well, it works! The wing warping is a success. The model has positive (if slow) roll control. The model did crash on this flight, but it was unrelated to the warping mechanism. My cowl came loose and caused some vibration, eventually the motor mount pulled away from the model.
