What an awesome jet! The maiden was nearly flawless - I put a bit of up-trim as a precaution but ended up taking it all out - zero trim required. More than enough power on 5S with the 28L56 motor, it went vertical until I started losing sight (the jet weighs almost exactly 2kg, or 4lbs 6oz).
Frank was along as tech support and brought his T-33, unfortunately his suffered a flameout just off the bungee launcher and went into the bushes - he tells me his repairs should be complete by now (he was fortunate to lose only a tip tank)
