The wing tip block needs a lot of sanding, and the cat suffers a bit

The cowl and windshield area needs more sanding and more sanding, sanding, sanding ....

I need to get a hold on one of those protective masks. I'm swallowing too much dust......

I'm thinking in putting in a pilot for the Cherokee, but I'm not sure what scale this model is. Looking up the real scale Cherokee wingspan and comparing it to the 60" wingspan of the RC model it roughly comes up to be 1/6. I bought a scale pilot from balsa USA, but it seems to be a bit to big to sit in the cockpit. Its supposed to be a two seater side by side pilot-copilot. I couldn't fit two of these scale pilots in the cabin.

¿Did I miss on something?
¿Where did I go wrong?

Having fun with the wing and learning in the process. This is my first kit. Everything I've put together up to now was scratch built from a plan. The wood precuts makes it easier and faster to build.

Just been web shopping and got hold of Pitts muffler for my .46 TT Pro. The specs where for the OS model but they're the same as the TT Pro.

Got my hands on one of these kits.
Don't know the date of this GP kit of the Cherokee. ¿Could be 1980s?

Everything seems to be in the box.

Will post some photos of the progress on the build.
Yes, I actually intend to fly the thing. A RC friend asked me the question staring with big eyes.

I'll be putting a .46 Thunder Tiger Pro from a high wing self built trainer. It fulfilled it's purpose, so I took it out and started this project.

See what happens, who knows.

After maidening in february, crashed it in march 2010. The reason was a dead battery cel in the 4xcell NiMH. Lost control to the servos and went head first into the ground.

Bought a BEC and tried it in the trainer with a Lipo and seems to work great.

This is the first plane I've built following a cad drawing. Came upon the AMP_15 DWG file, looked good enough for a try. Just had to translate it from Italian first. No problemo... I've flown High wing glow trainers and some electric deprons scratch built. Confident enough in my skills, this is the results.
