I flew the T-28 again. It got maybe 20 feet in the air and just rolled left again. WHY!?! control surfaces were all neutral, i dont know what could have gone wrong. This is frustrating...

First flight with my new parkzone T-28. I got it off the ground and it immediately rolls left. I had full right trim in as well. I don't know why it did this. I was putting minimum aileron input and it rolled extremely fast. Any thoughts?

Ok, here's another one of my optimist ideas. The tank base will be turned into a mech warefare machine without the use of legs. The system would be controlled via the Internet, so as I could control it from around the globe. It would have a recharging station so as it could drive itself into the charger to charge itself. For reference, I found the SRV-1 it has everything I want, just in a smaller size. What I want is just the processor. The camera may be different as I want it do be able to recognise color, and auto fire the airsoft guns. The guns would be mounted side by side. A video on Youtube shows a autonomous Mech warfare robot auto sighting its target and hitting it. I want a mix of that, a joystick to control the turret and then a auto fire button once a lock is found. It sounds crazy, but I am crazy. Video

I got the parts ordered. Vex is great, but very overpriced, so I didn't get everything. I got Tank treads, compatible motors, and a chassis. I/m going to need a receiver and a breadboard. The base tank will either lead up to a paintball tank, or a rocket platform launching SAMs. Please comment, Paintball, rocket or other?

My theory is that the rec. alone will drive the motors eliminating the need for a ESC. The Vex motors operate so that 1 ms PWM signal is full reverse, 1.5 ms PWM signal is neutral, and 2 ms PWM signal is full forward. The same basic operating system as a servo, only the servo is limited to 180 degrees, but the VEX can move in full rotation.

Ok, G33K question here. Would this motor (http://www.vexrobotics.com/products/.../276-2163.html) hook up to a PWM signal from a RC receiver. It seems as though the rec. would give the 5V to run the motor and the PWM signal just as it would give a servo. But hey, I dont know.

My Parkzone Ultra-Micro P-51d came! But there's a problem. My "friend" dropped my Dx7. See, at school, I started a RC club. All my friends love flying my MSR, and so far none of them have caused me to buy any new parts. NOW, my friend broke my Dx7. Everyone wanted to see the maiden of the P-51 this weekend, but it may not happen. NOT FUN.

While flying the MSR, I hit the tail on the wall and it spun out of control. I tried to fire it back up but saw a spark from the tail and decided I better not. I came to the conclusion that I need a new tail partly because of the burning smell coming out of the tail motor. The little black piece popped off. Apparently that is a common problem and E-flight will be coming out with a new tail soon. THEN, after I fixed the tail, I was flying under a lamp and powered up. The canopy hit the lamp the canopy was pushed into the main motor connector. This was then ripped off the board. I really don't want to pay $60 for a new board so I'm going to see if my friend can solder it back on. If he can't, I'm calling horizon. They always seem to be kind and get problems like this worked out.

This is one of my crazy ideas, A roof lander. In bible class, it popped into my head( I know, I shouldn't be day dreaming in class, but in my defense, we were watching a movie and it was a little boring). A plane, would carry some rover and drop it over the a roof. the rover would parachute down and land, flip a switch on my Dx7 and the parachute would fall off. It would then proceed to roam the roof, in either RC or autonomous. When ready to leave, I was thinking it'd lob itself of the building and deploy another parachute. In terms of a plane, I was thinking the twins, found under electric foamy scratch-build. As of rover, maybe a modded micro-T but I think I'll make a custom rover. Crazy, but hey, getting to the moon seemed crazy too.

I LOVE THIS THING... so far.

1st flight was through the house and strait out of the box it flew like a dream. Set the rates to 50 percent and it handled almost like my CX2. Ran it into a basketball goal, it was fine. I have about 4 flights on it so far. So far, So great.

I ordered some TG9e's I don't know, maybe 3 weeks ago and the finally came. The shipping took forever but the servos or pretty nice. For 2.29 a pop, there great. Got 1.5kg/cm of torque, .1 seconds for 60˚, and fairly small too. So far I'm loving these things.

I went to my hobbytown today. I came bounding through the door. I knew exactly what I was looking for. I found a big stack of Parkzone ultra micro P-51 mustangs. WOOHOO! I begin to look through the pile. RTF, RTF, RTF, RTF, RTF, RTF, RTF and what do you know, another RTF. Looks like I'll have to wait some more...

I am so super psyched about the Parkzone ultra-micro P-51. Can't wait for that thing to come out. I may need a early birthday present...

Well today i flew the mini pulse. It flew great the first battery. I LOVE that plane. I did some loops, some rolls, some knife edges, and some immelmans. Then on the second battery, i did an immelman but did 3/4 of a loop putting me nose down. Then the plane hit the ground at about 40 mph, nose first. The fuselage is in half and the hing is badly dinged up. As you may have guessed, the cowl is now completely destroyed. Now I'm waiting for the lipo to go boom. Poor Mini Pulse, you be back to normal in no time.

Yesterday I flew my new mini pulse XT. I had been flying a hobbyzone supper cub all of last summer. During they school year, I didn't fly once. I got the mini pulse for Christmas. So, I found a instructor at my flying field and we flew the pulse. He adjusted the dual rates and all that jazz. He took off and handed my DX7 to me(We weren't using a buddy box.) I flew it pretty well for my 3rd flight of that year and my first flight on a sport plane. I went in circles only turning left. I did a roll and a loop just to get the hang of it. I handed it over to my instructor and he landed it. He adjusted the low rates some more and we fired up the 2nd battery. He took off and handed to me. I did a roll and a loop and started flying in a circle turning right this time. Then I did some figure 8's and I gave it over to my instructor. I couldn't be more satisfied with that plane.
