Hey everyone, I have been into RC for 25 years and flying planes for 12 years. Recently I began heli training.
Having worked in a Hobbytown USA as manager for 6 years here in Cincy I am a great troubleshooter.
I currently do instructional build videos for Nitroplanes.com and have experience at bulding quite a few aircraft, so If I can help in any way at all, please let me know.
Helping people is what I do and enjoy, nothing is better unless it is watching a Novice fly a plane for the first time.

For novices only

do not fly with the motor mounting screw hitting the spinner like I did, note the sound coming from the motor. This was a very easy fix.

These six Airfield 800 MM Warbirds from Nitroplanes are still awaiting for their maiden flights due to the fact we have had 12 inches of rain this month alone so far and more to come.
They all went together easily with no issues and I expected them to fly well. These planes can be built in only a few minutes. There is very little left to do for the assembler.

Building the CMP Katana from Nitroplanes - part 5- Final
I used a radio that offered dual rates to give this plane a perfect final touch. In fact all photos of the surface controls in action are on high rates and need taming down some before flying.
Assembly was easy, all parts fit perfectly and I love the fact the main wing is not glued together allowing for easy removal for transport.
Even the linkages were pre -done with the servo horns already on them making linkage hook up super easy.
I remember when an ARF took a week to do but lately new designing is allowing for quicker assembly with the same beautiful end results.
The motor, ESC, and all servos were already installed ! Wow !
Pre -done wheel pants put the icing on the cake for me, sometimes that can be really time consuming but not with this plane. I only had to insert two 4 x 20 bolts into the fuse and they were done !
Plane powered by 5000 mah 25 c 14.5 volt Blue...Continue Reading
