These six Airfield 800 MM Warbirds from Nitroplanes are still awaiting for their maiden flights due to the fact we have had 12 inches of rain this month alone so far and more to come.
They all went together easily with no issues and I expected them to fly well. These planes can be built in only a few minutes. There is very little left to do for the assembler.

Building the CMP Katana from Nitroplanes - part 5- Final
I used a radio that offered dual rates to give this plane a perfect final touch. In fact all photos of the surface controls in action are on high rates and need taming down some before flying.
Assembly was easy, all parts fit perfectly and I love the fact the main wing is not glued together allowing for easy removal for transport.
Even the linkages were pre -done with the servo horns already on them making linkage hook up super easy.
I remember when an ARF took a week to do but lately new designing is allowing for quicker assembly with the same beautiful end results.
The motor, ESC, and all servos were already installed ! Wow !
Pre -done wheel pants put the icing on the cake for me, sometimes that can be really time consuming but not with this plane. I only had to insert two 4 x 20 bolts into the fuse and they were done !
Plane powered by 5000 mah 25 c 14.5 volt Blue...Continue Reading

Building the CMP Katana from Nitroplanes -- part three.

This ARF is very easy and relaxing to build due to perfect fits. The wing halves are just too easy to assemble, with only two alignment and support rods to insert into the fuselage to slide the wing halves onto. The wings can easily be removed for transport purposes if needed....Continue Reading

Building the CMP Katana from Nitroplanes PART ONE

First off- the Katana aerobatic was extremely well packed, wrapped in soft tissue material and then double wrapped in plastic. Pre-built landing gear complete with wheel pants saves build time. Being receiver ready, servos, motor, and the ESC are already pre-installed. The Aileron hinges are factory finished leaving only the rudder and elevator hinges to do....Continue Reading

I use Styrofoam cartons that planes are shipped in to make model scenes. It saves money and kids love them ! Also bear in mind that the Batmobile pictured is the 60's DC Comic version before the TV show Batman came out. That is why it dos not look like the bat cave you may remember.

Dynam Sonic 185 powered Glider from Nitroplanes.
The screw on Horizontal Stabilizer was all that was needed on the tail section, the vertical stabilizer and rudder are part of the fuselage. Pre installed aileron servos and linkages require you to only slide the Main wing halves into the fuse, secure it and plug up the ailerons to the receiver..
The folding prop is convenient when gliding and opens the moment you apply throttle.
Once again, I saw the opportunity to add flaps even though this model does not have flap option, so I can have maximum lift and flight time when searching for thermals.
To add to flight time I was able to fit a 2200 mah lipo into the compartment under the durable carbon fiber canopy.

Airfield P-47 from Nitroplanes.

The Thunderbolt is another simple to build and " dial in" plane from Airfield. With pre installed electronics build up is quick an easy. After gluing the tail feathers into the fuse, only the ailerons leads required plugged into the Y-harness provided, slide the main wing into the fuse, secure it and the model is nearly done.
Now snap in the landing gear and install the prop and it is done !

Dynam Meteor EDF from Nitroplanes
Easy assembly one piece wing. Horizontal and vertical stabilizer screw on, no glue required on this one ! This build is very fast and easy. Everything is pre installed and dialed in. Build time - 10 minutes from Box to field.

The Jet does not look like this factory, this one had a total makeover. I also probably went over board with the flaps but they were use mostly for brakes on the snow during winter landings. I nearly lost it in an experiment with a parachute for stopping it on the ground when the chute opened prematurely . I gave up that idea. I got bored and could not leave good enough alone. Overall a Sweet Jet !
Before I got ahold of it the EDF came RTF with 2200 mah lipo, brushless motor and 4 channel 2.4 GHZ TX and RX

This model -Nicked named- My Beater

Dynam Grand Cruiser from Nitroplanes.

This Gorgeous plane looks just like the Cessna 310 with twin engines, fuel pods on the wing tips and aerodynamic sleek looks. With a one piece wing and all electronics pre-installed it is a joy to build. Add 2 servos and a Y-harness and you can easily use the pre cut flaps.
Pre-installed linkages make attaching them to the control surfaces a breeze.
This RTF package comes complete with 2.4 GHZ radio system and 2200 mah lipo battery.
This is another attention getter whenever I bring it out.

Dynam Skytrainer from Nitroplanes.
The Skytrainer is fantastic when it comes to looks and flight. Taking advantage of the flap option really allows me to gain more lift during takeoffs and landings are easy when the approach can made be so nice and slow. Now available with operating flaps ,navigational lights and a 2.4 GHZ radio system, this plane is a must have for your scale collection.

Dynam C-47 / DC -3 from Nitroplanes

This is one of my favorite Dynam Aircraft, with twin engines and detailed markings I love the way it looks. Assembly was super easy with most of the decals already applied, only the Invasion stripes were added and included in the combo RTF kit ! Comes with a powerful 2200 mah lipo battery, twin brushless motors and a 2.4 GHZ radio system.
Wiring was simple and I was even able to attach the rear wheel to the rudder servo with a spare linkage rod finishing it off perfectly.
Everybody I know that has seen this one has asked to buy it.
I think I'll keep her !

Dynam Turbojet from Nitroplanes.
The cool looking Turbojet is not only easy and fast to build, but features twin EDFs and flap install option for super nice approaches on landings and added lift during takeoff like the real thing ! Comes RTF within a half hour with the exception of the 2 servos for the flaps. I put the plane and flaps on a Tx and RX that has an adjustable rate knob for the flaps so I can set them in any position I choose.
