This yellow Bigbird 2.5m was given to me by Seung Hyun Lee, the chairman of Team Albatross, the local slope gliding club which I belong to.
Mine is single carbon and I did 168m/h with it.
This plane is one of my wishes. I want to buy double carbon Bigbird some day.
Bigbird 2.5m`s best DS record is 202m/h by Mike Simon.
In Korea, many slope pilots have their own M60, I imported totally 16ea of M60 from NCFM directly as a group buying.
I built up two planes at a time, particularly in the same way(color scheme). We called them "twins" to celebrate my friend`s twins`s birth.
I did 143m/h with mine, but I couldn`t make more speed with it because of flutter of the elevons.
I imported 12ea of Nemesis-DS at a time for DS guys in Korea 2 years ago from Breta model.cz directly.
Im-Kil Jeon, one of my friends, did 178m/h with mine and I did only 154m/h. You know, Nemesis-DS`s best DS record is 184m/h by Kyle Paulson, Vincent CA 5-24-04.
Nemesis-DS is one of planes I want to buy again.
I have been DSing since 3years ago, but thesedays I`m doing F3F with Trinity F3F DS, Zoom 3.2M because I found out I could meet the wind barely for DS, as a weekend flier.
In Korea, you can find actually 3-4 flying sites for slope gliding, but Mt.Hwang-geum is the best one for F3F competition & DS. It takes almost 1 hour, keeping 160-170km/h driving, to get there from my home town. We can enjoy flying there during only 6-7 months, from November to May next year.
