Last night, I got a chance to fly my Parkzone A5 from water. Since picking up the plane at the Weak Signals RC show in Toledo, I have had a few flights in my backyard with it. I was excited to get a chance to see what it could do wet and was very impressed with it's performance.

One thing I did not want to test was it's durability. I'm happy to report that it performed very well in that regard as well.

At the 5 minute mark of the video, there is a horrible crash due to my error of trying to go inverted following a touch and go. I had the thought of doing half a loop and staying inverted at the top of the loop. I did not have enough speed to keep the nose level, so I tried to recover but slammed into the water hard. I had to use "Pinky" the rescue boat for the first time to recover my plane. The plane held up great

Cold, cloudy, snowy, windy day here in West Michigan. I took my Blubaby 33 out for a flight. Love playing with this ski equipped plane in the snow.

I have built 4 different RC Snow Sleds (Air Boats?, Snow Planes?, Snow Skimmers?)

We seem to get some snow, then it warms up and it melts away pretty quickly this year. I enjoy it while we have it though.

My wife bought me this kit from Headsuprc.com I really like the new foam that GWS is using (EPO). It painted nice with Testers spray paint, and I really enjoyed building the model. The weather was unseasonably warm today, so I decided to take out the newly finished P51 for her maiden flight.

Winters in Michigan can feel like they last forever. I am having a great winter here, actually enjoying the snow. Why? Because this year the number of planes I have ready for snow has grown to 5.
