Scratch built in the mid 80's, originally 1/2A glow powered. Recently resurrected from 18+ years of storage and converted to electric power.
Vintage Airtronics Q-Tee. Was originally .049 reed valve and T.D. powered. Now electric using a stock GWS 350-C power system, 3S-1500 Lipoly on GWS 8x6SF prop. Flys better than it ever did as a glow plane, and now I have throttle control.
Wattage J3 Cub 400
AXI 2208/26, 2S-2000 Lipoly, MAS 8x4e prop.
Flys very scale like at slightly less than 1/2 throttle, yet has more than enough power at full throttle to ROG in a few feet.
Tanic 3S-830 Lipoly
MAS 6x4 glow prop
Flew good at 3/4 to full throttle, was very UN-responsive at lower settings. Sold it for the J3 Cub.
e-Converted slope glider (Ridge Rat) from the 80's, powered with Brushless 400, 3S-2100 Lipo, 6x4 prop. It has also flown on Cox TD .049 power.
Home built and designed for BL IPS power. Crashed it in high winds and broke the gearbox (no other damage). Gave airframe to a Buddy.
Home built and designed, excellent flyer. Top speed about 60mph, yet slows down to a crawl. Has flown many times in 25+ mph winds.Broke in 1/2 doing fast spins (no spar). Current version has spar.
Totally scratch built using Eyeball engineering ("that looks good"). Will easily fly in a Little League baseball diamond.
